BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The top U.S. commander in Iraq said Tuesday that it will take another 12 to 18 months before Iraqi security forces are ready to take over in the country.

"We will continue to adjust our tactics to meet and stay ahead of conditions on the ground," Gen. George W. Casey Jr. said.

They are trying to buy time. I heard yesterday that they called for the Iraq soldiers to stand up and they only could get two soldiers and the reporter on cnn said they are missing two thousand. I recall earlier this year when they told the Iraqi soldiers that they would have to patrol baghdad that they threw a fit and started taking off their uniforms and refused to go.
