You never hear repubs complaining about the machines, but I can forsee a future where they might do just that, bitterly.

They know that stealing another election might tip people off, so they are going to let this one go, and then have a bunch of Republicanoids trying to make the story "see we Republicans accept defeat graciously, unlike those whiny crybaby Democrats."

He basicly said - why republicans try to scare people from voting democrats in power? If democrats fail us, we will vote them out. As simple as that...

It always amazes me that when they say that, they never stop to consider what that says about the Republicans.

It's one of two things, either Republicans aren't concerned enough, as American citizens about peoples voting rights

The voting machines are just hunky dory as far as they're concerned because they work in the Republicans favor.

Then again, its been my experience that people who vote 'R' don't do so because they are the mental giants of our society, so I guess I really shouldn't be amazed.

Although, as has been said upthread, they're just taking a sabbatical from complaining about all these things - they'll get right back to it as soon as there's a Dem in power.
