cspan caller: 'you never see repubs complain about voting machines'
no shit dumbass, the machines are built by bush loving bornagains, and have been proven over and over again to be cheating machines.

You never hear repubs complaining about the machines, but I can forsee a future where they might do just that, bitterly.

4. That is a pretty dumb thing to say
That said, maybe they are folding on the machine front this time around. They know that stealing another election might tip people off, so they are going to let this one go, and then have a bunch of Republicanoids trying to make the story "see we Republicans accept defeat graciously, unlike those whiny crybaby Democrats."

But who knows what the future holds.

15. On the other hand, if they can steal just one more election,
the can drive the final nail in the coffin of the Republic.

Legally the stage is set for a dictatorship, with just a little more time ... .

5. I liked another caller
He basicly said - why republicans try to scare people from voting democrats in power? If democrats fail us, we will vote them out. As simple as that...

And another old lady - she said she is 80 or something like that and she thought she will never live to see democrats in power again and now she is proud to be democrat and see democrats win election agai before she dies...

6. I've heard that before too
It always amazes me that when they say that, they never stop to consider what that says about the Republicans.

It's one of two things, either Republicans aren't concerned enough, as American citizens about peoples voting rights

OR

The voting machines are just hunky dory as far as they're concerned because they work in the Republicans favor.

Then again, its been my experience that people who vote 'R' don't do so because they are the mental giants of our society, so I guess I really shouldn't be amazed.

13. Of course my view is
unpopular.

If the repukes lose this election big, you can be sure this will become a hotter issue for them. I just don't think its an issue that belongs to one party. Sorry.

Proven? Where's this proof you speak of friend? Where is the lawsuits?

17. But they complain about voters
Maybe it's time to get rid of voters, especially the colored ones, and just let the programmers do their jobs.

20. Here's some other things you never see repubs complaining about:
The death of habeus corpus

Massive corporate profits at the expense of workers

Corruption

Government pedophilia

Illegal war

etc etc.

Although, as has been said upthread, they're just taking a sabbatical from complaining about all these things - they'll get right back to it as soon as there's a Dem in power.
