IMO, this is the best political ad ever. Please go to this link, watch the ad, and if you have ANY money, contribute to a candidate on this page.

If we win the seats we need in 2 weeks, it will be because of ads like this. Unfortunately, many voters make their choices based on what they see in ads. Let's make that work in OUR favor. Every spare penny I have is going to get these wonderful ads on TV. Please join me.

1. I can't believe you're even posting

with what you and your family are going through right now. Though, even as I write that, I remember so many of the deaths in my family and how I vacillated between a thousand emotions and how sometimes, I needed a distraction.

Anyway, I'm going to bookmark that site, look at my finances later today and send them a contribution. And while I don't think I can really make the donation in your mother's name (perhaps I can. I haven't studied the form just yet) in my mind, it will be just that.

I've also recommended this thread. I think this is a fine thing to contribute to and since pretty much all of my candidates are safe, I can spend some elsewhere.

The wake is tonight, funeral tomorrow. I am on leave - a smart idea on my part. (When my dad died, I went right back to work, which was a DUMB move.)

She lived a good life. Lots to be grateful for. And lots to be inspired by.
