Did you know that forcing women to be pregnant is a war crime?
But, yet the RW'ers discuss the 'benefits' of that openly and wish to enforce it upon our people without any consequences. Why?

8. It always comes back to that ...
... no matter how strongly people deny it's existence

2. Do you have a link to something authoritative?
Or are you just saying stuff?

7. Thanks! Why that wasn't in the OP is beyond me....
But at least I *now* know something I didn't know before.

3. I've always believed that if they can prevent us from having abortions,
they can force us to become pregnant. But they'll play hell gettin' _any_ control over _this_ woman's body.

4. i have never understood the ''need'' some people have to
separate a woman's uterus from the rest of the woman. there are those who do it here as well.

9. They're protecting us little women from ourselves, dontcha know?
Just like our morality police protect others from our bodies, they protect our bodies from _us_. :grr:

10. it's why i hate the whole ''privacy'' approach to abortion.
we keep arguing body parts. i know it's what i have to work with -- but still.... and nothing, nothing pisses me off more than the fact that it is 2006 and women are technically still not entitled to full control over their own bodies. if that EVER happens -- we really will be living in a different and better world.

I see no difference between me making a living as a painter with my hands, and another person making a living with his or her "party parts."

6. It's a crime under any circumstances.
Whether it's "on the books" or not.

12. Women are under siege everywhere. . .
that's why Andrea Dworkin entitled one of her books "Letters from a War Zone", and she had always lived in this country.
