damn they are good. much better than us anyway in that area. what makes it frustrating in the democratic party, all the self attack and critizisms, but we arent all good soldiers, lock step and followers.

7. That's because Independent thought is a juxtaposition.
during the lock step and follow.

It doesn't happen, they handle independent thought like the Bush Admin handles dissent, quickly and quietly

3. Don't Know About FR, But Over At NewsBusters...
I spend too much time trying to correct, um, questionable statements over at NewsBusters, a Right Wing bunch that purports to ferret out Liberal bias in the media...

In any case, that bunch has remained staunchly loyal to The Torture President, leading to some amusing and spirited shouting matches between the Righties and the few Liberals that also hang there. For example, there was an amusing exchange today, based on the site's claim that calling it "domestic spying" is just Liberal bias - it should be called a "terrorist surveillance program". Of course, I could not resist but to write:

Actually, I agree to some extent. "Domestic spying" doesn't really do it justice, and seems to confuse a lot of the commenters on this site.

"Spying on Americans, on American soil, without a warrant" is a mouthful, but it's much more precise, and does a better job of conveying the screaming unconstitutionality of the thing, no?

And then more than 100 comments flew: http://newsbusters.org/node/3749#comment-54440 (my handle there is MassLiberal)

4. Wait until it's them
 I can't stand this crap! They're willing to give away my freedoms without even giving a damn about what I think and want! They're just happily going to take them away from me and all of us!

5. If we don't let Bush spy on us
Our daughters will all be wearing burkas before the end of the fiscal year.

Oh, and Clinton did it too.

6. Not many of you have ...
done much of anything to move, inform, or educate these people on their forgotten, grass-roots level of existence.

Your non-rural existence only allows you to forget about causes and smirk and disdain them, over and over again, for what they are, think, and do.

Don't take any responsibility for that in your world. In reality, you are very much responsible based on your very own brand of ignorance. They may seem stupid and easily manipulated to you, but you are not immune to that at all.

Their ignorance provides you with an amusement and results you do not want. Your ignorance means almost nothing to them because they LIVE in the results of your apathy.

Educate them and make that a very important issue, (which you have not done at all) or face the consequences.

This is not place to boo-hoo, if you know why the Ides of March are upon you now.

I imagine that actions that could have been taken long ago are not going to have any impact on your complaints and insinuations on what is occuring today. You are not going to see the oneness of this and the value of that equation without popping out of the Matrix of the norm. This is not a something that even liberal democrats have easily achieved. Bark at the results and enjoy your current lifetsyle while it endures. Easy come, easy go.
