Snow: Hutchison's splitting Iraq idea encourages the Terrorists
At least that's my interpretation :-)

<snip>

Hutchison said in interviews with Texas newspapers that allowing the Kurds, Sunni and Shia to govern their own territories while sharing in Iraq's oil revenues could be a way to end violence in the country. But she also said such a plan would take more American troops.

"We have to step back and stop trying to put our American ideas onto this problem and start trying to get an understanding of their views and strong-held prejudices and biases and ethnic preferences," Hutchison said.

Snow said Prime Minister Nouri al-Malaki has said such partitioning would not only undermine the government, but encourage terrorists.

"So we appreciate Sen. Hutchison's thinking through the issue, but we respectfully disagree," Snow said.

2. Biden's partition proposal
is the most realistic alternative I've heard yet.

And Tony Snowjob is very likely to change his tune when the Baker group comes back and says that partitioning is their idea.

3. He appreciates her thinking but respectfully disagrees.
And he tippy-toes around the subject because ... uhm, let me guess .... Hutchison is a Republican. I can only imagine the insults hurled if Hutchison had been a Democrat.

We need a new T-shirt on cafe press: FYTS.

4. I guess we can cross partitioning off the list of possible changes
to bushler's Iraq policy after the election. It appears to have been one option suggested in the Baker Iraq Study Group report (which we'll probably never see), but if the WH spokessphincter is rebuking Repukes today for mentioning partitioning Iraq, then it's a choice between the already failed stay-the-course option or sealing our troops up in their bases and letting the Shia massacre the Sunnis until "order is restored".

5. How? Explain That Tony!
How does that encourage terrorists? Except in the tiny, tiny minds of the Bushbots, there is no logical path that would lead to that conclusion.
