Perhaps if smokers didn't act like such assholes, both on the board and in real life, there wouldn't be such flame wars whenever the subject is brought up.

I've seen
1) Smokers who don't acknowledge the harmful effects of second hand smoke (Kind of like how freepers don't believe in evolution or global warming)

2) Smokers who say they smoke "just to piss the non smokers off". Nice.

3) Smokers who throw their butts on the ground. Every single one of you. Don't you dare lie about it.

4) Smokers who smoke in a car full of children, in their own homes, which also include children (which is WRONG, no matter WHOSE goddamn house it is), smoke when pregnant, ETC ETC ETC.

Go ahead, say I'm being judgemental and sanctimonious.

Every single one of us here on this board are judgemental and sanctimonious when we talk about the freepers. You know why? Because we know we're right and because we know we're not fucking nut jobs and we are capable of recognizing the truths of the real world.

What I've seen the past few days with all these smoker threads are a bunch of smokers who have a little freeper inside of them. They don't want to face the facts. They want to act like children. They get offended when we point out the simple truths to them: That second hand smoke kills, that smoking in front of children, NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE is fucking WRONG, that being sanctimonious about YOUR filthy habit while jeopardizing MY health is WRONG, that smoking while pregnant is WRONG, etc, etc etc.

I think I saw a bunch of 'smoking' threads you might better enjoy.
This is a Bar/Lounge for Smokers Only where we can have a cigarette and maybe a lovely single-malt scotch and enjoy the comraderie of friends. We have a deck -over there - through the french doors. But you might be uncomfortable when the bbq starts to smoke.
