Which Nazis smoked? I never saw a picture of Hitler with a cigarette, though I think maybe Himmler smoked. Anyhow, why would Nazis, whether they smoked or not, want to lock themselves in a garage with a running vehicle? You don't get much of a buzz from carbon monoxide; it doesn't even smell like anything. Though it would probably kill them, and I guess that's not such a bad thing for Nazis.

Aside from that, I have no idea what this post is about.

here in Atlanta there's a lovely yellowish-brown haze that hangs over the city most of the summer--and outside the city, the effect of smog on trees near the freeway is obvious; you can see a clear line, and everything above it is diseased-looking.

13. Of course I'm totally against air pollution, just not sure how

the topic got tangled up with smoking Nazis. Two separate issues, IMO. I am opposed to air pollution in general because it's bad for everybody, and to cigarette smoking in my immediate vicinity because I think it stinks. Pollution is a societal problem for all of us, but smoking is a personal preference for individuals, who are quite free to endanger their own health if they desire, just as I am free to ride a bicycle without a helmet or eat too many Big Macs. I would only ask, quite politely and not Nazily, that they try to do it downwind of me.

If I sound mad it's because I'm furious. I fought getting nonsmoking areas in places of work and restaurants for years and years, while watching my 25 year old husband go through cancer treatment. I'm sick of you drug addicts claiming that you're being disciminated against simply because I don't want to inhale that toxic crap.
