Bush: Americans are against the Iraq war, because they want us to win

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,221501,00.html

<snip>

O'REILLY: Sixty percent of Americans are now against the Iraq War. Why?

BUSH: Because they want us to win. They believe — they are wondering whether or not we have the plans in place to win. They want to know whether or not we have the flexibility on the ground to constantly meet the enemy.

And I can understand why there's frustration, because the enemy knows that killing innocent people will create a sense of frustration and they know that they know America. They know we are a conscience-driven people that value life. And the more people they destroy and the more innocent lives that are destroyed, the more likely it is we will retreat in their way of thinking.

This is what Usama bin Laden and Zawahiri had plainly stated, that it is just a matter of time that America loses her nerve and leaves.

3. Talking Point Number Four regurgitated
It matters not what the question is. He simply tries to regurgitate one of five talking point paragraphs, whether it fits or not

9. Is Busholini saying that his War is losing?
Americans mostly support winners. He is a loser. Iraq Occupation is a loser.

Is that what he is saying?

Iraq does not represent the interests of most Americans. just the neocons, and their opinions mean very little these days.

10. They wanted Custer to win too.
And, they wanted Westmoreland to win. And, they wanted 'Murka to win the World Cup.

And, the guy drowning wants to make it to that beach 5 miles away.

And, most people want to live forever.

Didn't happen, not happening, won't happen.

11. Guess he just hears what he wants to hear, or maybe it's his
standard answer when ever he hears "Iraq" in a question? Hell, he never makes any sense. And he also gives the same stupid answer or variations of it. I can't believe he still has the nerve to bring up Osama bin Forgotten? :wow:

13. So...Americans are against the war only because
we want to WIN? NOT because we invaded a sovereign nation based on LIES and have caused the deaths of more than half a million people? That has nothing to do with it, I guess. God, what a hateful, craven, moronic, evil BASTARD Bush is!

ALL we care about is WINNING, just like him. Oh. my. god. I have never hated anyone as much as I hate George W Bush. He deserves the same horrible fate to which he has consigned so many innocent people. :grr:

I swear if George had a peanut for a brain, he'd eat it! That man is beyond illogical. People are against the war because they want us to win...WTF? No wonder America is in a downward spiral - look at who runs the country! A moran supremo!

23. Oddly enough, I agree with him.

I opposed this war from day one because I knew we could not "win". Or rather I knew the terrorists could not lose. If all violence ceased in Iraq tomorrow, ...

if we stayed another five years, ...

if there wasn't so much as a case of jaywalking in the entire country during those years, ...

if the Iraqi gov't left behind went on to govern peaceably, secularly and were the most outspokenly pro-western gov't in the middle east, ...

... the terrorists would STILL use our ultimate departure as "proof" that we are not willing to stick it out. It was a stupid fucking war for which "victory" doesn't even have a fucking definition.

So, yeah, Americans want to win. They are coming to realize we can not. And so they are turning against the war. Idiot finally got something correct. Broken clock and all that.

25. George W. Bush actually told the truth!!!
No, not the bullshit line about Americans being against America's War on Iraq because we want to win. He's just being stupid. Again. He was telling the truth when he said:

"This is what Usama bin Laden and Zawahiri had plainly stated, that it is just a matter of time that America loses her nerve and leaves."

My question is this - What so bad about that? What's so bad about losing our nerve and leaving?
