October Surprise thought...
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 02:00 PM by tk2kewl
(More like November 8 Surprise) With all of the M$M attention being given to election fraud, do you think maybe the BushCo plan is to just declare the elections invalid and reschedule them for an undetermined date?

6. Since when did rules stop bu$h from his agenda?
You are correct, they shouldn't be able to stop the elections but I wouldn't put it past them to try.

7. I think Saddam is the October Surprise.
I know its really November (5th) but that works perfectly in rove's plan. There's no chance for Democratic rebuttal and after two days of 24/7 media propaganda the ignorant masses will be whipped into a patriotic frenzy.

That is why the bush* admin is so confident.

10. Who really cares about Saddam anymore?
He's been locked up for how long? And the war rages on, Americans keep getting killed, terror attacks keep happening. All with him being locked up. Everyone expects him to be found guilty. I really don't think too many people are going to be jumping up and down over that with what is still going on in Iraq.

13. I agree: if its Saddam, that's too weak for anyone to care one way or
another. Most people have forgotten about him completely.

14. I think you've both forgotten the power of bullshit.
The news media is little more than an advertizing platform now. If they play this constantly for two days the masses will begin to buy it. Everybody hates Hussein and being able to focus on that will be an actual relief for many people who've had to actually think for the last couple of weeks.

This is going to play big, I think.

12. It'd be easy to counter.....
Every Dem should start talking NOW........ until Nov 5th about the "worst kept secret in Iraq-nam." That Saddam Bin Laden will be found guilty on Nov. 5th A date chosen by the Bush crowd.

9. Why don't we have intelligence on what the fraud or disenfranchisements
will be? I mean, why can't we find out how many voting machines are planned for a given precinct?

Why can't we find out how the disenfranchisement will happen and put in counter measures?

If Bush and Rove not being worried means they plan to steal the election, they can't do it alone. There must be thousands of people meeting and planning what they are going to do on election day.

Why can't we tap into that? I here on the talk radio shows "what are the dems going to do if they don't win. If Dems don't win this time it means that the Dems just can ever govern." That seems to be something you'd say if you thought Dems were going to lose. Is it all bull shit calculated to get people to the polls rather then them staying home?
