Lieberman Urges Dems to Alter Their Ways
Sen. Joe Lieberman, running as an independent after losing the Democratic primary, said Tuesday he hoped Democrats seize control of Congress - with one caveat: a Democratic-led Congress, he said, must change its ways.

``It won't represent progress that's real,'' Lieberman told reporters while stopping at a transportation forum in New Haven. ``It's not going to be much of a step forward if there's a new Democratic leadership that doesn't change the tone in Washington.''

Lieberman has said he will not endorse Democratic candidates because he understands that his candidacy has put Democratic candidates in an awkward position, and has said he would stay out of their races.

Yo Joe, you are in bed with the bastards that poisoned the tone. Now if dems take control you are saying we should all play kissy face and be nice. What a fucking jerkoff you are.

21. Impeachment happens in the House - he can't stop it
and if there were an impeachment he can't stop the trial in the Senate....

12. Mrs. ZBDent didn't like him ... same reason she didn't like Carter
(and she's usually a leftie ... when I explain to her what leftie usually entails ... voting Dem)

When your lips don't move, she doesn't like it ... same reason why me watching anime drives her nuts ...

7. Hint, hint
as soon as the dems try to make change that isn't good the WH he will use that as his excuse to bolt and not caucus with the dems. The dems can't be partisan but the gop can to him.

9. Prominent Democrats should have come out
in full, enthusiastic support for Lamont after the primary. Their timidity and silence on this will come back to bite them if Lieberman, god forbid should win.

10. IMO Lieberman is worse than a RW Republican ... he's a traitor to
all the freedom loving Democrats AND Independents. We already know that when the Leadership cracks their Congressional Whip, all Republican Representatives SUBMIT to Authority. :puke:

Lieberman is nothing more than a BushWorld patsy. He's not promoting Bipartisanship but merely submission to One Party Rule.

May The Good people of Connecticut wake-up enough to kick his bony a** out of the Senate on November 7th. ;)

You mean, win? And not have to feel completely whorish in the process.

Yes, that's why vote for Lamont D-CT.

22. Dude..... MORE PEOPLE VOTED FOR THE OTHER GUY!
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 03:20 PM by walldude
It's called LOSING! You know, a majority of the votes and all that. Here let me explain in simple terms. You are a politician also called a Representative. That means, people vote for you so you can go to Washington and represent the people that voted for you. You know bring their voice to the Senate. Maybe, instead of trying to convince everyone that you are right and they are wrong, you could do whats best for your people and quit.
