I think it's a disgrace the media is giving that nut John Mark Karr
all of these interviews.

As a reward for all of his despicable lying, he's going to become a millionaire through interviews, book and movie deals.

He is clearly a psycho, and in my opinion, most likely a child predator who is on the loose. How unfair he's getting rich.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- John Mark Karr, the former suspect in the killing of JonBenet Ramsey, never confessed to anything, he told CNN in an exclusive interview.

In an interview recorded for CNN's "Larry King Live," Karr said that he is not facing charges in the United States or in Thailand, where he was detained in August in connection with the Ramsey case. But he said his attorneys had told him not to discuss the case or any other investigations he was involved in.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/10/16/karr.interview/

KING: We're back with our remaining moments with John Mark Karr.

Are you planning a book?

KARR: Possibly.

KING: Will you write -- will you at least reveal more in the book than you've revealed here?

KARR: I will. I will, because it will be --

KING: Anybody proposed a movie about you? KARR: Not yet. Not yet.

KING: Would you be interested?

KARR: Yes.

:puke:

3. He should be charged with obstruction of justice
He made shit up to get arrested and get his 15 minutes of fame, all while wasting the time and money of the Colorado authorities.

Any I don't even want to hear any bullshit about him being "mentally ill". That's no excuse. He's still responsible.

6. He sure made Sonoma County look like iditos.
But then again, who lost the computer? Why did the judge who was on the case and wanted to proceed get replaced by another judge who threw in the towel and let the prevert go free?

20. It's interesting...

That the media makes this guy THE PERP, and then their backing away from that, and their anger, propagates down.

What, specifically, did he "make up".

The three things he said in Thailand were, approximately:

"I love Jon Benet, and her death was an accident"

"I was with Jon Benet when she died"

And in response to an open-ended "Are you an innocent man", he said, "No."

The "I was with" statement is pretty darn ambiguous. Maybe he fancies himself to be spiritually connected with all people and he meant "was with" her when she died in some different sense of the term entirely.

Those were the only direct statements he made to the press, and while they appear to have a direct implication, they can be seen entirely different, especially when coming from someone who is pretty flakey, but not necessarily mentally ill.

The media's anger with Karr seems to be taking their own jumping to conclusions out on someone else, instead of owning up to the circus which they created.

5. What the hell would his book possibly be about?
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 01:25 PM by BlueStater
How he duped the gullible media into getting involved with his antics for two weeks (and is still doing it, in fact, even after he's been exposed as a fraud)?

Shame on Larry King. Shame on CNN.

8. Not nearly as disgraceful as the people who bought his charade!!!
Many of whom post on DU.

In fact, I have a question for the DUers who lectured those who thought the Ramsey family was involved. So, now that John Carr had nothing to do with JBR's death, don't you feel a little stupid?

14. Did you notice you were ignored?
The charade is still a crack up. The Karr story reminds me of the http://observer.guardian.co.uk/waronterrorism/story/0,,1278807,00.html">fake beheading that spread like wildfire through the media. Everyone had an opinion, and everyone was wrong.

11. They need something to keep them from exposing the republicans further
than what has already happened.
Don't talk about politic, find some totally bazaar story and run with it until it can't go any further, then push it some more.

13. you ain't kidding
Remember the MSM is part of the conspiracy. This kinda fluffery story is indicative of why they spent billions of dollars to gain control of the media.Instead of reporting real news they present smoke and mirror story's like this in order to hide their crimes from the American people.
Con spiring with others to cover up or promote war crimes is a war crime also!

To The Hague with them!

Incomprehensible to me WHY except they are exploiting the issue for ratings. It is unethical and beyond reason that they would give him air time.I was utterly disgusted with Larry King for even thinking of having him on his show. There is no justificstion for it.At all!
