Poll question: Al Gore vs. John Kerry: Both robbed, but who deserves 2nd chance?
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 12:47 PM by Truth Hurts A Lot
Who handled his respective stolen election better?

Al Gore tried to fight for weeks but then, there will always be that footage that was so eloquently inserted into Fahrenheit 911, of Gore mercilessly banging down the gavel while the Congressional Black Caucus begged just one Dem Senator to stand up for Black Voters' rights...

Or John Kerry, who conceded, really before the votes were even counted in full, because there was 'no proof' of fraud?

Sorry if I sound bitter. That would be because I still am! But I'm curious: Based on what each of them did after their respective (s)elections, who is more deserving a second chance?

1. I hope one of them runs! And the other one supports him!
If they join forces to support whomever runs, they can be unstoppable.

Oh, please, God. Please. Help us save ourselves!

3. BTW, nobody deserves a second chance! They all have to make their case
and the people will decide. For my part, I will be proud if any of them is the nominee,

8. good point. I suppose both could run again, but one would have to wait
for the other to serve out his 8 years first.

5. I voted Al Gore, but in my mind, the question
should be do the American People deserve a second chance? Also the last adjective I would use to describe Al Gore foregoing his own ambitions for the sake of the nation is "mercilessly". If you remember from the Fahrenheit 9/11 scene, Al places his hand over his heart in gratitude and affection for the very congressmen and women protesting the election, this is a moment of bittersweet pathos.

6. Both are deserving, but timing and events seem to shout *Gore*...
Every one of Al's observations on the Middle East situation have come to pass. His passion and focus on the environment and global warming are without parallel, and couldnt be more urgent and timely.

7. I believe only Gore will address the real "threat to civilization"
Global warming and other environmental issues are the real threats...much larger than "Bush, Cheney, & bin Laden, Inc."
