1. I'm an Idealist, I can't help it
There'll be a revolution if this election is stolen.

perhaps a few isolated (or portrayed as such by the MSM) incidents, demonstrations and then on to the next days fair...

Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 11:21 AM by LibDemAlways
the streets you'd have to reinstitute prohibition and add a decree that sports are officially banned in the USA. That would get them going. More years of repuke control? Yawn... Most don't know what party is in charge now and hate election night because "Dancing With the Stars" might get preempted.

5. Majority of Americans will sit in their living rooms making like it is OK
There will be some up-rising that will never make the news in America. Some will be hauled off to secret camps for water boarding and such.
The constitution will disintegrate even further and what was the great democratic experiment started a few short 230 years ago will cease to exist with out even as much as whimper. It will all be over except for a few militants trying desperately to revive what is left of America.

RIP, USA. 1776 - 2006

16. What are you, a moron?
If we are going to lose anyway, what's the point in working for campaigns - why waste your time? That's just stupid.

Once the game is over you walk off the court - if the game is over, staying on the court just makes you look even more like a loser.

8. It will entirely depend
on what the Democratic Leadership does, what individual candidates whose election was stolen do. If they cry "Foul!" loud and clear and refuse to accept fraudulent results, then there would be hope. If not, it will be a rerun of the past three stolen elections. (Don't forget to include 2002)

17. Dozens even
We might as well accept the fact that the day of the peaceful war protest actually influencing policy is a pipe dream. Thankfully I have a pipe all loaded and ready to go.

13. No "I give up" option.
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 11:32 AM by Touchdown
After giving up 3 evenings a week since June, half of my Saturdays to GOTV since August, screaming from the rafters on the criminality of this regime, when very few of my countrymen join me, but give me pats on the back and "proud of you" patronizing, as if any of that helps, and more that $300 I can't afford to candidates I believed in, it's just time to hang it up. Hang it all up. Any belief things can change, respect for the flag, respect for the country, respect for being a citizen, is all going to the clothes line. I will get out while I'm still free enough to do so.

I pray none of that comes true.

15. Americans are a bunch of self interested absorbed and greedy hooples.

99% will do nothing unless it effects them or thier personal lives.

Democracy has been dead for quite some time, its now just consumerism, and corporatism, rat race.

18. Everyone outraged will be depicted wearing tinfoil hats.
All claims of fraud will be dismissed offhand, no matter how clear the evidence is. We will be told to stop whining and focus on '08. And those asking how long, how long has this been going on, will just be a faint background noise, an echo from the distant 60's, overwhelmed by the bullshit media system.
