Yard sign observations here in solidly blue CT
Not surprisingly, these things are everywhere and I've noticed a few things about them this cycle.

First, no Republican running actually lists themselves as a Republican on their yard sign (same goes for all the radio and print ads I've heard and seen). The Democratic candidates are not so secretive of their affiliation.

Also a lot of candidates are printing their names in blue like Chris Shays, Jodi Rell and others.

Seems like none of the Republicans in my state want anything to do with their party.

Too bad they can't get rid of that (R) on the election ballot or I'm sure they would.

1. A few of my observations in CT, too
I drive from the Rob Simmons district in the morning, through Larson's and then end up in Nancy Johnson's district for work. (not a fun drive)

I often see Lieberman signs paired with Nancy Johnson ones, though not always.

Republic signs, as noted in the OP, are almost all blue - traditionally the Democratic color. (BTW, Lamont's are blue letters with a white background)

Joe Courtney (running against Simmons) has chosen a yellow background color for his signs, which seems odd.

Nancy Johnson & Rob Simmons both have large amounts of over-sized wooden signs.

2. Saxon has his proudly in red, here in OR
but I did notice while driving to Corvallis that some of the signs grouped in the fields with his were blue, and none of them stated their party, not even the local ones.

3. Ohio signs do not designate R or D!

We also have officially misprinted some absentee ballots with D where it should read R. Read your ballot very carefully wherever you vote. I for one will bring a list of all Democratic candidates to the poll so that they do not cheat me out of a vote!
