If Democrats Win Big Will Election Fraud be Considered?
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 08:03 AM by RestoreGore
I have noticed that when Republicans win races the initial response is that it was stolen, and that more than likely in some cases might be the case... So if Democrats win big in areas where it was thought Republicans would win this November, will anyone call election fraud? Would be something to see Republicans change their tune on that then as well, since they think it doesn't exist. But as a human being I can also certainly see that people on all sides have the capacity to cheat, especially when so much is on the line. Or are we to believe that only one side does it and everyone else is pure? You see, the reason I am concerned is not only because 80% of our votes are counted by corporations, but because temptation is there for both sides, and not one Democrat in Congress has called for the elimination of electronic voting machines. I wonder why that is unless people on all sides think there is a chance to take advantage of it. So if Democrats win big this November, will election fraud be mentioned, or are we then to believe that the system is suddenly pure and all this talk about electronic machines was a political ruse?

1. D*MN straight if i go to machine hit straight dem ticket and perry
comes up as voted on.... in the state of texas. damn straight i will be yelling fraud. even if bell wins. i walk in and they say i am not on the list to vote, you can bet, right there and then i call the amarillo globe news and tell them the repugs are stealing my vote. every citizen that is deprived of making a vote need to put an independent callthru the papers.

texas we seem to have the vote swing to repug when voting straight dem, every 3rd, 4th, 10th, vote, i dont know. i dont like it. i call bullshit. after two other election, four years to fix, when i vote dem i want it to be all dems

2. Of course. It's entirely possible the reNAMBLAcans will challenge...
...the results in several races by citing the VERY MACHINES they've put into place for THEIR cheating.

Scary, but mark my words...

4. What I am stating is...
if we see evidence at any time of Republicans being denied their votes, will we publicly mention it and defend doing the right thing? I don't approve of vote fraud no matter which side does it. Therefore, my question was, if Democrats win big in areas where Republicans were slated to win and they want an investigation of it, will Democrats suddenly deny election fraud with these machines exists? Will they become us, and we them?

6. even as we watched votes stolen, registration denied, in previous
elections.... when a dem was caught doing wrong, we collectively hung them.

we are not them
have never been them
arent likely to be them
and there is NO evidence to suggest otherwise

7. Good to know...
because as I stated, there is much on the line and temptation is there, especially since no Democrats in Congress that I know of want to really step up to the plate and call for electronic machines to be totally removed from this process as they are a threat to Democracy.

10. Not everything is in GOP hands
My county is in Democratic hands and known for the political machine here, which is my point.

12. Let us hope they do
The more people bring the issue up the sooner it can be resolved. I don't care if it is Democrats that do it or Republicans, it needs to stop. It seems in today's America only the Republicans get noticed. If they bring up an issue it will be talked about. Let's talk about this issue..

9. It Was The GOOP Who Called For The Florida Recount
When Gore was declared the winner, the cry immediately went out that there was "Fraud"...that the election was being called before Polls were close to supress Repugnican vote...yada yada...and then it was the Repugnicans who filed for the recount...thanks to James Baker (who had already been put in place...the script was written...the trap set).

Then there were the calls of fraud in the Missouri Senate elections...trying to nulify votes from black districts in St. Louis and Kansas City.

It's like when your favorite team loses. They didn't play lousy, it was bad refs. And we know how Repugnicans like to play fair and never complain without justification :sarcasm:

The best way to avoid hearing their whining is to win by big margins in as many races as we can with a bigger turnout...it'll make our laughter and gloating so much finer.

Cheers...

11. They Will be Crying and Whining So Loud
Our minority voices wouldn't even be heard. I don't think this is an issue you need to spend too much time worrying about. :>)
