It also has one of the creepiest scence I have ever seen. Mimi Rogers character, Sharon waits in the desert for the rapture after her husband is killed tragically by a gunman. They wait and wait, but no horn of Gabrielle. Sharon had promised her daughter she would see her daddy in heaven after the rapture. Instead of disappointing her, she has her daughter kneel and pray to Jesus as she aims her revolver at the back of her head. "Pray to Jesus, baby." Bang.

It still creeps me out.
