At a performance in Minneapolis last Friday, she remembered her previous visit, and we remember it well, too:

Peyroux quickly made the show personable by recounting a previous Minneapolis gig that fell on the day after the last presidential election.

"I'm so proud to be here," she said. "This was a blue state. I didn't forget. It was a traumatic day for me."
