Leaders of the 'christian' Right to broadcast propaganda message
To convince followers to not sit out the election.

"At 7 p.m. Sunday, evangelical leaders including Perkins and Dobson plan to broadcast a 90-minute television special from a Boston church to hundreds of other churches across the country in an attempt to keep religious conservatives from sitting out the election.

Called "Liberty Sunday," it will "highlight specific cases and stories where people's religious liberties have been threatened because of homosexual activism and gay marriage in Massachusetts," said Family Research Council spokeswoman Bethanie Swendsen."

1. I read they had a whole 1,000 attendees at their hatefest. . .
I think their message is getting tired and old real...real FAST. And if people would admit it, a lot of this backlash this election season is disgust at the way these people try to shove their chosen beliefs into law for everyone else.

2. No kiddin'!
You'd think they'd steer away from the 'homosexual boogey-man these days -- it just serves as a reminder to the Fundies about Foley, and how quick the Repubs were to keep that under wraps.

Desperation, thy name is GOP.

6. Right down the street from this event
We had over 5,000 people at a rally for the Deval Patrick, the Dem nominee for Mass governor. (who supports marriage equality) We w-a-a-a-a-y outnumbered them. :D
