Congressman Jack Murtha said WH is inviting Bloggers to go to Iraq
Edited on Thu Dec-29-05 12:42 PM by RamboLiberal
Local 50,000 Watt Blowhard Station KDKA Pittsburgh had him on this morning to talk about getting Federal Funds to repair an overpass that fell on to I-70, but the topic got around to Iraq. Morning guy interviewing him wasn't one of their usual RW shills.

Murtha mentioned that WH has invited bloggers to go to Iraq to see "the truth". I'm not that up on the koolaid bloggers so who do you think they will invite and will the chickenhawks go?

Murtha said that whenever they do these kind of things it's nothing but a dog and pony show in the "safe areas".

Murtha told some "young" general to start telling the American people the truth. Said the senior officers are telling him we have to get out.

I'd like to give the RW bloggers a helmet, armored vest, rifle and send them out on patrol everyday. There would be a new brown stain and odor on the seat of their desert camos.

maybe the keyboard generals over in freeptown can go and stay for 3 years since they are so hard up to "defend freedom"

5. Probably the same way that the "reporters" who write such flowery prose
about Iraq do it . . . send them over to a cushy hotel in Kuwait, give them lots of $$$ and drugs and good food, then make sure they only write good stuff . . . otherwise, somehow, they are "unable to be located to return to the US . . ." and suddenly you hear about "accidental" shootings of bloggers instead of reporters . . .

6. Bloggers should go when Smirky goes.
(I am not counting the plastic fantastic turkey trot in 2003. IMHO, I don't think Smirksalot left the states or its safe military bases on that one.)
