New Gallup Poll Shows Bush Sinking To 37% Approval
Edited on Mon Oct-16-06 02:23 PM by Mark E. Smith
The Albatross swinging from the neck of the GOP
just can't seem to find the love he so desperately
wants anymore.

9/7 to 9/10: 39% approve - 56% disapprove
10/9 to 10/12: 37$ approve - 57% disapprove

1. If Gallup has Bush at 37 that means he's actually at 27
I've always wanted to write that :)

2. So, it's really around 20%.
Homeless people and those without land-line telephones are usually excluded from polling, and I seriously doubt that population feels proportionately the same about the bastard.

3. Yeah, Bush has truly got to be in the 20's now. 37%? Not since 2004.
Cheney has to be in the single digits, and Congress in the teens.

Yes indeed, we have a great Government. Looking out for themselves instead of the people.

4. Take a look at the far right hand column, approve minus disapprove
DUHbya has been in the red in EVERY POLL for over a year, usually in double digits.

5. How low can he go?

My mom has voted Republican since 1980, and she is making a point to vote straight Democratic ticket November 7th because she wants them out! She voted for Bush twice, and in the last 2 months has become completely disgusted with not only the Congress, but with Bush. Considering she loved the guy, this is quite a change! I hope more people are doing the same.

6. I go by my front yard sign poll
I live in what is supposedly a "red" area. My Impeach Bush sign has been in the
center of my yard for over a year and I've received no negative reactions ... nada ...
zilch. No one has tried to steal it, tear it down, deface it. And no one has said a
single negative word to me about it.

On Oct 5th, we had a WCW rally in this very same supposedly "red" area. Of all the people
who passed by, the response was overwhelmingly positive. Only three people in cars expressed
a negative reaction (ye olde middle finger ... they are Reptilicans, after all) while the vast
majority gave a positive response.

If he's at 15%, I'd be very surprised. Gore Vidal was right -- he'll certainly go down as the most hated President in US history -- and after Nixon and Reagan, that's really saying something.
