3. Weldon is being investigated for steering "consulting" business, like

over a milllion dollars' worth, to his daughter, isn't he? I'm not aware of any page issues, the money is plenty.

7. I'm not sure the FBI is investigating him directly,

but it most certainly pertains to the lobbying contracts his daughter got. Seems she has no experience in lobbying,nor it seems her partners have either, both close friends but managed to get not only lobbying contracts but also business deals for her clients from the gov't.

The raid is just part of an ongoing investigation. This was brought up earlier but fizzled.

4. CNN blames the democrats

CNN announced about this but said "Is is a democrat ploy just before elections?" Can anybody tell me which democrat, group of democrats have the ability to tell the FBI what to do. They can't even get them to investigate or even answer one of their requests. This is ridiculous.

Agents raid homes of Rep. Curt Weldon’s daughter, close friend

Federal agents raided the home of the daughter of U.S. Rep. Curt Weldon (R., Pa.) and his longtime friend Charlie Sexton this morning.

The agents departed Karen Weldon's three-story brick home on Queen Street in Philadelphia with arms loaded with boxes.

A government car pulled into the alley to the back door of the house and loaded boxes into it. Three agents standing in an alley declined to identify themselves.

"I can confirm that we conducted a number of searches regarding an ongoing investigation," said FBI agent Jerri Williams, a spokeswoman in Philadelphia. "Details regarding those investigation cannot be provided because the accompanying affidavit is sealed."
