The Stephanie Miller appreciation thread!
I've had some time to listen to Stephanie Miller this week and she's better than ever. I remember her on KFI radio in LA years ago; she replaced police chief Daryl Gates if you can imagine that. (People used to call her show and ask "Where's the chief?") Stephanie was good then--I listened every night. She eventually left for an opportunity on Oxygen TV, but left a void in radio.

Thrilled to find her on SoCal radio again, I listen every chance I get. The format (with the two guys including longtimer Chris the boy toy) works very well and I found myself laughing out loud in freeway traffic.

GREAT JOB STEPHANIE!

2. "I am *not* one of your fans!!"
Gotta say I was not amused when she replaced my boys Marc Maron and Mark Riley of Morning Sedition here in L.A.

I had a really long commute to the O.C. back then and the M.S. guys made that one-hour-plus trip fly by.

Ms. Miller has gotten progressively better as I've listened (and my anger over Morning Sedition's replacement has subsided) and I think her show is pretty solid.

Keep up the good work!!

4. I'm trying to get my 4 year-old daughter to say...
"Ladies and gentlemen... it's the moment you've all been waiting for... it's The Stephanie Miller Show!"

But instead, when I give her the cue, I say, "It's the moment you've all been waiting for, it's..."

My daughter says, "Countdown with Keith Olbermann!"

Unfortunately, my wife won't let me teach my daughter the "lying sack of crap" song, so we're at an impasse for now.

I'm still in the doghouse for watching Monty Python and The Quest for The Holy Grail with her and teaching her to yell "Nee! Nee!"

8. Man, you are one fun dad!
And Monty Python is an essential part of a child's cultural education. :)

9. I made good use of the fast-forward and skip-scene buttons
I wasn't going to let her watch the vorpal bunny, black knight, or a few other things.

3. Stephanie Miller rocks!
I wish I was worthy to be one of her future husbands.

Maybe if she knew I used to mix white zinfandel (from a box) with Poland Spring vodka while I was in college, it would help?

Nahh.
