Video: Vermont Candidate Peter Welch SLAMS Joe Lieberman

At a campaign rally in Burlington Vermont on 10/13/06, US Congressional candidate Peter Welch slams former Democrat Joe Lieberman for being funded by the Republican Party. Although he doesn't mention Lieberman by name, everyone there knows who he's talking about, resulting in a huge round of cheers.. Kudos to Welch for correctly pointing this out. The Solar Bus officially endorses Peter Welch to replace Bernie Sanders as the sole representative to US Congress for Vermont. Peter has a long history of supporting the environment and other important social issues. We will have more of Peter's speech available on our blog soon. Also at this rally are Bernie Sanders, Scudder Parker, Patrick Leahy, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

I have trouble with Windows Media Player formats - so I appreciate the YouTube & Google.

8. Yeah, YouTube makes it easy... Did you happen to catch

the video of the founders of YouTube announcing they were purchased by Google? the guys look like they're 19 years old. laughing, giggling... and now they're sitting on a billion dollars.! I still can't figure out how they make any money when it's all free and I don't really see any advertising on there. I'm betting that will change when Google takes over...

10. Bummer! Peter Welch is just getting

started and the video goes OUT for me..he got as far as "environmental stewardship" and youtube kaputs!

I would have loved to hear what he hadda say about the lieman.
