Jihad Unspun reports "dozens" of US dead in Base Falcon attack.
I have no idea how reliable these guys are,I found it in a google search.

Jaish Al-Islami (Islamic Army of Iraq) has released a spectacular video that shows their group firing mortars into the US Falcon base and the subsequent explosions that occurred as reports that “dozens” of Americans were killed in the massive attack surfaced.

Last Tuesday, a coordinated attack, leveled the US base in Baghdad when mortars and rocket fire struck the munitions arsenal located on the base. In the new video release, one of the Jaish al-Islami’s field Commanders explains the great victory that Allah granted. Quoting a US Military Commander who was cited by news agencies, the JI commander stated that the US lost hundreds of millions of dollars in the attack, and the losses encompassed all the equipment in the base, including the base's smart weapons cache, US vehicles, a large number UAVs, administrative and archival material belonging to the 7th Marine Corp that was completely destroyed along with a large number of tanks and aircraft.

5. It's almost as if it never happened
It's positively unbelievable that there has been ZERO followup on that story. Not even a word on how much tax$$$ were blowing up that would be re-stocked.

I just can't conceive that there were no casualties after that on the base, as well as in the surrounding area of Iraqis sleeping! It wouldn't surprise me to learn that casualties are being sewn into the high number of deaths we've been hearing about since it happened.

13. Yes it is. It's the absolute US Media SILENCE that leads to suspicion.
This was HUGE...we're talking about many TONS
of munitions burning and exploding for hours...
probably the most successful attack on one of
our bases in the history of the occupation.

And the US media just suddenly DROPS the story
completely; they went from "initial reports"
to DEAD SILENCE without explanation.
The story was DISAPPEARED across-the-board.

It's only natural to assume that this story must
be very bad for the warmongers and their paid propagandists,
if they can't even find a way to "spin" or minimize it,
but must, rather, elect to pretend it never happened.

3. Take Jaish al-Islami’s claims with a grain of salt
No reason to buy what they say.

6. I agree - how could anything survive those explosions and fires?

and I'll bet it destroyed a good bit of property outside of the base. while I was watching the live video, saw an explosion send fire outside and watched it flame up in a new spot. anyone on that base surely could not have survived.

and this news vanished from the media.

7. For reasons that have been explained a multitude of times...
...by the extremely sane and helpful maintainers of the casualty list at icasualties.org, the US Government doesn't lie about the number of soldiers killed in Iraq.

9. While icasualties.org is normally correct on this
IMHO if there was 20 killed and the military wanted to cover it up that they were all killed at the same time, IMHO they could spread the deaths out for say 10 days at 2 a day.

10. And you will note that since this the average daily casualty
rate has increased.

Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

11. You do realise, of course...
That the Army releases unit information for these soldiers, and anything that didn't correlate would be quickly discovered...

As I said, it's all been explained before, many times...

12. And according to CNN a short while ago
there were several US deaths today.

The more they remain silent, the more people will speculate.

15. The numbers will continue to be hidden as time progresses.

The neocons DON'T care how many people die-
They DO care about concealing it from the public.

I agree with the posters on this thread who
point out the complete media blackout and silence
on the story.

As always, ask,
"In whose interest?"

I think the answer in this case is fairly clear.

16. Ya know...
I think they report Military deaths accurately, but, there is a tactical reason to wait to release any info until after resupply.

Just sayin there are some legitimate tactical reasons to delay news.
