NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Evergreen Solar Inc. (ESLR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) jumped 13.3 percent before the opening bell on Monday after the company said it entered into a four-year supply contract with Mainstream Energy LLC to ship about $100 million of photovoltaic modules.

In early electronic composite trading, shares of the company rose to $9.30, up from a close of $8.21 on the Nasdaq on Friday.
