Cut & Run is the only sensible thing to do & w proves it with his insults
He stands at the podium in his drunken arrogant sway and calls us cut and runners with his insulting tone, he calls us cowards because we want his masturbatory mayhem to stop before another half million die, that's not cowardice, its good sense.

You know that when he says cutting and running is the wrong thing to do, it's the RIGHT thing to do.

There is no dishonor or shame in cutting and running when the time comes to cut and run, doing otherwise is nonsense, and foolhardy. Insult me all you want, even the generals are coming around to the cut and run strategy, it is time to actually cut our losses and run the fuck out of there.

Say it loud, I'm cut and run and I'm proud.

1. Cut & Run? No but an orderly withdrawal to minimize deaths/chaos is right.

4. You can't really appropriate that term
I mean I see what you are saying, but that term has too many negative connotations for it to be successfully turned around.

5. Might be helpful NOT to call it c&r
This is just repeating their meme. It's really just recognizing that an incredible mistake was made by invading Iraq and doing everything possible to rectify that mistake.

6. In Forrest Gump the little girl fold him "Run, Forrest, run." Sometime
it makes sense to face reality - enough said.

7. We could call it a "strategic redeployment"
But I honestly don't care what we call it as long as it's done, and quickly.

8. The strategy is also called "living to fight again another day".
And is quite respectable, regardless of the package the Repubs want to rewrap it in. But be patient—it will be repackaged again, as something positive, when James Baker and the Iraq Study Group recommend it in their report.

15. "Cut and Run? You Bet" by Gen Odom - One of my favorite articles
http://www.foreignpolicy.com/story/cms.php?story_id=3430

Odom dispells all of Bush's myths on why we can't leave Iraq:

If we leave, there will be a civil war.
Withdrawal will encourage the terrorists.
Before U.S. forces stand down, Iraqi security forces must stand up.
Setting a withdrawal deadline will damage the morale of U.S. troops.
Withdrawal would undermine U.S. credibility in the world.

Read it. It's a short article, but very informative.

Note: Lt. Gen. William E. Odom was director of the National Security Agency under Ronald Reagan from 1985 to 1988.
