bush has dishonored his nation & his party, why doesn't HE resign?
Edited on Mon Oct-16-06 06:34 AM by Philosoraptor
For the last 3 weeks I've heard innumerable republicans say, "at least when republicans are caught doing something wrong, they always step down", as it is the only 'honorable' thing to do, I suppose using foley's example.

This is a ridiculous comeback of course, and if they really meant it, then they'd demand that bush and his whole vampire crew step down immediately because he and they have done many, many wrong things.

Why doesn't HE do the honorable thing and resign?

1. Because he's a sociopath and he sees nothing wrong with
his own behavior. Any criticism coming his way is deflected to be someone else's fault. He does what his pathology demands of him.

7. Do the honorable thing? Don't hold your breath for it is unlikely a
torture president will do so in this lifetime.

8. He would have quit after 9/11 if he had any honor at all. But then
to follow that up with the invasion of Iraq, just proves to me that he really doesn't believe in God. Because if he believed in God he would know that there will be a place in hell for him for all of the murder and destruction he has caused.

10. He earned it. It's his. He's entitled to it. Nobody can take it away.
"L'etat c'est moi!" "Who are YOU to tell ME what to do?"

Of course the word "earned" means different things to working people ... but the 'ownership class' see themselves as demi-gods, not caretakers. NOBODY tells Smirkyboy he's wrong. NOBODY tells Smirkyboy he can't have anything he wants. That would be treasonous. Smirkyboy's opinion of himself is the only opinion that counts. Just pay attention to how he answers quetions at a press conference. As long as HE thinks he's doing OK, that's all that counts. Anyone who disagrees is committing heresy.
