I don't watch the show, I didn't realize he was a reporter. What a shame he can't get a job in real news. OTOH, some of the Kennedys are conservative, e.g. Mari Shriver and her lame husband.

If you read any of the bios on Kennedy's you would see that her mother, Eunice, is a conservative on a number of issues, like birth control, abortion, etc. Its not a surprise if her children reflect the same values.

I suspect a lot of devout Catholics are against abortion and against some forms of birth control.

My larger point is that just because your spouse is a conservative or liberal doesn't mean you are too.
