Tony Snow says George Buxh is so smart......
“He reminds me of one of those guys at the gym who plays about 40 chessboards at once.”

Tony Snow is taking his one-man comedy troope on the road, performing before paid audiences to raise money for Republican attack ads.

1. I was about to turn off my computer for the night.
And now I am bouncing off the walls.

I had absolutely no idea that our fearless leader could play 40 'boards at once.

I will sleep much better, tonight.

16. LOL - "one of those guys at the gym"- I doubt Tony has ever seen a game &
I really doubt experts at chess demonstrate their ability at gyms.

LOL!

3. Probably because no one explained to him that the game
is only played on one. But Bush got a look at all those pretty horses and castles and kings and things and decided play with them all. Whee!

7. I know, but I think he understands that the horsies
on the board aren't real, like the pictures of the goats in that book he read one time.

19. No.. chess masters will have "simultaneous" exhibitions, where the one
master will walk from board to board, making his move on each one, while the numerous opponents have plenty of time to consider their moves.

I don't think too many are doing this at gyms though.

26. No, the master doing the simul generally gets the advantage of white.
It's the least they can get considering the huge time disadvantage they face in each match.
