RW'ers using Evangelicals? It's not exactly breaking news.

"Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them... The wackos get their information (from) the Christian right, Christian radio, e-mail, the Internet and telephone trees."

This little gem came from Mike Scanlon, one of DeLay's underlings and an associate of Jack Abramoff, and the quote was uncovered in 2005.

1. They've all been in bed since reagan.
And I'm pissed of he lost his mind and died before we could bring his lying ass to justice.

9. Good point.
But I wasn't very politically aware at that time beyond Horton Hears a Who being preempted by a Special Report.

2. We have to catapult the propaganda and get the msg through their skulls...
I got into a "conversation" with one at the deli who was saying how much that bush had done for them, etc.

Please don't tell me that enough's been said. Maybe for you and for me, but these guys are watching the 700 club for their news...

4. This time, though, it's from a guy who worked for Bush in the WH
and is himself an evangelical.

6. Some of those evangelicals are really "evilgelicals"
Take these examples, for starters:

I will vote straight Republican, proudly, but sadly, it will do no good. Blagojevich, Durbin, Osama, oops, I mean, Obama...I hate living in a blue state.

i am 58 years old and i have voted in every election. I am independant but because of life issues i tend to vote republican. i think it is essential that we keep at least the Senate Republican in case there is another Supreme Court vacancy.

of Church and State. Start hitting these powermongers with their mega-churches with full taxes on everything they own, if there is even a WHIFF of political talk from any of them.

They've used the system to screw this country -- it's time to drop a 16 ton weight on them. And kick the SOBs off the airwaves for FRAUD.
