Senator Landuiex from Louisian was just seen leaving her house in a white suburban with lights. Time for me to head to the suburbs by car just in case something real is going on here.

Crystal City was unusually quiet tonight. Normally, the contractors and per diem govt. people are already there for Monday morning business. We ate at the National Diner near the airport and were the only people there -- for 2 hours. Holiday Inn adjacent to diner was nearly deserted (again unusual for a Sunday night).

(it's still Sunday night here in the midwest), so I have a selfish wish that an October surprise NOT happen tomorrow. I've always felt sorry for people with a September 11th birthday. I DO NOT want October 16th to become a "household date".

I realize that's a minor consideration, in the scheme of things... I really wish those people would stop playing such evil political games. :evilfrown:
