5. I just discovered "Spin" today

I was going to post it here to recommend it.

It's an hour of raw satellite footage from 1992, mostly from the presidential campaign. The stuff where they don't know they're on camera, like the footage in "Fahrenheit 9/11" of Wolfowitz, Rice, et al, getting they're makeup put on. But this movie is a solid hour of the stuff.

It's from 1992, mostly from the Clinton vs. Bush campaign.

Some highlights:

** Katie Couric mocking a guest on her 500th Columbus Day special after he's gone for criticizing Columbus. Her producer says "what does he know?"

** Paula Zahn telling Bob Arnot his analysis of the third-world state of inner cities is "obtuse," and suggesting a different angle.

** Footage from the coverage of the Rodney King verdict, including a reporter that looks amazingly like Kathy Griffin wading into a sea of angry LA residents.

** Larry King discussing pharmaceuticals with Poppy Bush.

** Pat Robertson on a call-in show, saying of a caller he'd just spoken with, "that guy was a homo, as sure as I'm alive."
