Now... "Cross burning"!! :sarcasm:
Orange County deputy sheriffs are investigating whether a burned cross found Thursday on the front lawn of an upscale Lake Nona-area home is evidence of a hate crime.
A neighbor's son pointed out the charred wooden remains to homeowner Lorna Drayton about noon as she was leaving to take her grandson and the boy to a skateboard park, she said.

The 6-foot-by-5-foot cross was on the far edge of the 5-acre property on Lacebark Pine Road, surrounded by scorched earth. To Drayton, who is of Jamaican and Chinese descent, it was a sign that what she described as years of vandalism and foul words by rowdy thugs had worsened into something far more serious.
The neighborhood is diverse, and most residents are kind, Drayton, a retiree, said. But she said a group of white people in their 20s have repeatedly bothered residents there, driving on lawns, racing on streets with four-wheelers and vandalizing property.
This was not the first ugly, race-related incident, Drayton said. Her husband, Gerald, 66, was recently surrounded by roaring pickups driven by members of the group.
"They called him the n-word," Drayton said.
