What's funny is that I've heard the alleged increase in blowjobs among teenagers blamed on the Lewinsky scandal by even non-right-wing people. To me, even if there was some weak link (which I doubt) between teenagers hearing about the Lewinsky scandal and deciding to engage in oral sex, wouldn't that be more the right-wing's fault for digging into Clinton's personal life or the media's fault for having such a field day with it, than it would be Clinton's or Lewinsky's fault? I do personally find it messed-up when I hear that many teenagers (and people my age, for that matter) look at blowjobs as something almost as casual as say, kissing. But I would hardly blame this on Clinton; I think it's more the mistaken belief that just engaging in oral will allow them to avoid STD's or that taking part in oral but not having intercourse will allow them to remain "virgins."
