4. Maybe I should take a match to mine and see if it's even
possible to burn the thing. No, wait, I may need that to get into Canada. Know any freepers who could conduct an experiment for us?

5. Freepers with PASSPORTS!?
BWHAHAHA! What would be the point? Doesn't every other country suck? Freepers are like W...they never travel. Bush had never visited anywhere but Mexico for some tequila and donkey sex shows when he was coronated.

6. I was thinking the same thing
Didn't that happen with one of the supposed 911 hijackers, also?

Damn convenient how these identifying documents always seem to survive the crashes and land in plain (no pun intended) site.

8. it reeks of the Bush Crime Family
whenever I hear about explosion-proof passports, I immediately suspect hands on involvement by the BFEE.

Imagine this scenario, an unknown government official contacts Lidle and befriends him, and then asks to go for a plane ride. The plane is then hijacked and forced into a building (the BFEE staffer's family is well compensated, of course).

13. I was just about to ask that question...
...who amongst us (small plane pilots and passengers) carry a passport with us when taking a recreational flight around Manhattan?

18. they must not travel on short notice then
I have my passport and current visas (for about 5 countries at any time) with me in the laptop bag at all times. I couldn't do my job without it. And anyone who makes frequent trips to Canada or Mexico might well carry theirs a lot as well rather than hassle with a birth certificate. I just don't understand why people are surprised that a millionaire...flying a plane...relatively close to Canada...would not have a passport on him.

23. They travel about 50% of the time
For all I know they carry same with them at all times. Me, I've only gotten to go to the UK one time. Chalk it up to inexperience (my incredulity over the baseball player's passport being found).

Plus it's good longer than my regular state ID.

17. My great uncle's wedding ring, a picture of my grandma, his gloves
and his hat came out of his fiery crash in WWII. Why did he carry a picture of my grandma with him? Because she was his baby, and only, sister. :hi:

It is light, and can move on the outer bubble of the blast, being put quickly beyond the heat of combustion.
