Alright, what can I do to help?
The past few weeks have left me almost unable to concentrate on anything else but how much I loath Bush and the Republicans in Congress. So I need practical solutions to quench my rage. DU, I want every suggestion you can think of how I can get involved to get these bastards out. I need this. I need this badly.

5. You're welcome.
I see you're in NC. I am a native Tarheel and I was born in Chapel Hill!

You were so lucky to have John Edwards as your senator! :) :hi:

2. Help local campaigns. Look them up, call them, and
volunteer to help. You'll be glad you did.

4. Check out whose running for Congress in your area or neighboring
regions:
http://www.actblue.com/directory/search?q=federal-house&state=NC

or state offices:

Visit their websites, contribute $$$, volunteer, whatever.

Good luck and good hunting.

Contact Dr. Dean and get on board his get out the vote effort. I have and it feels good to actually do something constructive, as opposed to my just bitching all the time. go to www.demacrats.org/electionday

9. I'm right where you are
I signed up to help on that Dean link that was going around, and also contacted the local people I know about helping. They are more than happy to have the help, esp on Election Day. I've already blocked the day out for door knocking, driving, whatever.

Whatever it takes, at this point. I wish I could work full time on this, and I am very grateful to those of you who are.

10. work on a campaign
I've been doing lit drops since August, sometimes I am the only one out there. All campaigns need help. Contribute financially if you can. My candidate is running against Sensenbrenner, and he needs money for ads!
