16. We are paying their salaries, to start with
and when they are on junkets funded by "special interests", you can bet your ass that there's some legislation coming down the pike that will cost us even more money.

13. I was shocked that one of my faves WEXLER was the lone Dem in top 10
travelers, but his trip was to a Zeus-awful place, clearly for true research.

Thanks for the great site!!!1

20. Wow, thanks!!
Holy cow, no wonder so much legislation favors corporations and rich people. And no wonder members of Congress are are not at work in Washington, DC any more than they are.

These expense reports are some of the sloppiest paperwork I have ever seen. Some of the expenses are definitely lowballed.

Try putting Tom DeLay's name in the search engine - ten pages of trips. My, he had him some fun, didn't ol' Tom? I particularly liked the ones for "informational" purposes, for example his "informational" trip to Egypt costing just a hair under $10,000.

Edited to add: Isn't it funny that one of Foley's trips to a conference in Vail just happened to take place during ski season? I'm sure he wouldn't have taken advantage of the timing just to get a free ski trip, now would he? Nah, that must just be me being cynical. I'm sure he spent all his time at the conference, yeah, that's it.
