Uncle rant...

Oh, I adore my uncle. He's in his 80s, and plans to live till he's 110. He has come so far from 2000. When he calls me these days, the first thing I hear is a full blown "anti-fool" rant. And I let him rant until he wears himself out. At which point, I reply with a "Uh-huh, I agree."

He just called me and worked off steam about NK, Foley, Hastert, McCain, Iraq, and voting machines. He's fired up about the election and says that none of his friends would "vote for another Republican as long as they live--and some of them don't have much longer." Says that all the RWnuts down at the local cafe where he has his morning coffee hang their heads and slink out now when he and his coffee buds start talking politics. His prediction is that "them Republicans are gonna lose bad."
