Has David Gregory turned into the "new" Sam Donaldson ?

Remember when the White House thought Sam Donaldson was a gadfly? He was the person that always shouted questions at Reagan as Reagan was boarding his helicopter or plane. And he would cup his ear as if to say, "I can't hear you". But Sam kept shouting. Now, it appears that David Gregory has taken over that role. But, at least he's asking questions.

DG is one of the very few WH press corps with a spine. If more were like him we might get some answers or at least knock that cocky look off the idiot's face, and Scotty's, too.

but Donaldson jumped the shark, in my opinion, when he stood in front of the White House when the Monica mess broke and said, "The Clinton Presidency is now measured in days."
