4. This is wrong

If nothing major happens between now and election day, republicans will lose much more than just 20 house seats. There will be many unhappy incumbents on Nov 8th. Even with the gerrymandering... There will be loses in districts noone ever thought about. Think of 94, only smaller. Democrats can win up to 45-50 seats. The 20 seats gain is a conservative estimate.

5. I'm convinced that once Holy Joe is returned to the Senate....

he'll be offered Sec of Defense, and he'll accept. CT Gov. Jodi Rell-(R), will then be able to handpick his repub replacement and we'll be stuck with said replacement for 6 yrs, thereby making Dead Eye Dick the tie breaker in the senate. Someone please tell me I'm wrong? God, I absolutely despise Joe Lieberman.

I hope the Dem voters of CT are smarter than that. Please vote for NED.

It brings to mind the football player who holds out the ball as he believes he is about to waltz into the end zone. He looks and feels real stupid when the ball gets knocked out of his hand before he reaches the goal line. It ain't over til it's over.
