Senator Sessions (R-AL) should be in the movies...
He could play a "Boss Hogg" type of character. He could be the mayor of a small southern town. Some bikers could come thru his town with their barely-clad biker Mamas...He could get with the small congregation at his local church and decide what strategy he should take. They cannot allow those immoral people in "their" town. He drinks his RC Cola and eats his moon pies and those are his trademark. Then one of the biker Mamas puts a "move" on him. He succumbs to his weaker angels and tries to hide it from his congregation. Then he has to convince them that not "all" bikers are bad...etc..
:)

The person you see speaking on the floor of the Senate is actually a cartoon character. Alabama's real senator -- Howell Heflin -- is actually in a cryogenic state, waiting for the day when he is truly needed to bail out his beloved state.

That should be any day now. LOL

I live in Alabama and, yes, I am embarrassed to be represented by the likes of Jefferson Sessions.

As what, a leprechaun? An elf?

It's mind-boggling to me that Good Ol' Southern Boys voted for him.

12. Yeah, I always say he's an elf.
"It's an elf!" is the first thing I say when I see him on C-SPAN.

However, I associate elves with mischief, cunning, and charm. I suppose he's mischievous, but I don't get the sense there's charm there.
