Kean's position on the war and his refusal to answer questions about whether he'd enlist or allow his children to serve should disqualify him from representing New Jersey in Washington, says the group, Military Families Speak Out.
In a two-page letter to Kean dated Monday, four members of the group tell the Republican state senator, "You should feel ashamed that you refused to answer military families and the people of New Jersey. We urge you to drop out of this campaign for Senate because you have disgraced yourself." snip
"This war is taking the lives of so many U.S. troops and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi people," said Rogovin, of Teaneck. "It is creating enemies, is making more people hate our country and is sucking up a half-trillion dollars, which should be going for health care, education, housing, people's needs, social services."
