Foley.....Gannon.....The Franklin Cover-up?

This Foley incident is probably just the tip of the iceberg on GOP behavior that goes well beyond issues of sexual orientation and indiscretions. It seems that this could continue to unravel in many directions for a long time if an investigative reporter would follow it. DU's own late great Andy Stephenson (himself openly gay) was trying to weave some threads together in this old post:

I can't seem to remove it either. Instead, when I find myself heading into the "Ok, I give up it's hopeless mode", it's a good reminder to stay focused and never stop fighting for what's right and for our democracy. I sure do wish he was here today for a lot of reasons- this story, in particular - especially as it relates to Jeff Gannon. Also because much to everyone's surprise, Clint Curtis won the primary and if things keep going in this direction with the GOP, beat Feeney. Especially if we can connect Feeney with Foley which my instincts tell me we can.

I miss him too.

15. Wow. That's weird. I found Andy's thread via goggle

when I was looking for info on the Franklin Coverup (to refresh my memory of that incident), and thought 'yikes! Andy was onto this a year ago!'. I was just trying to connect the dots of all the deviant sexual issues I've read about in connection with the GOP.

The topic of the Franklin coverup has come up before during the Gannon incident and here's what Skinner had to say about it then:
