The first thing a Democratic Congress needs to do
Is give the military a 20 percent across the board raise.

Let Bush try and Veto that.

4. No, the #2 thing is repeal last week's "Enabling Act." Then
take a hard look at the PATRIOT Act.

2. He will veto everything a Democratic Congress passes
just because Democrats passed them. These people are zealots, fanatics, non thinkers.

Such a Congress may have no choice but to impeach him.

5. If Dems tried to pass things for the working people...
...One after another bill, his vetoing them all would quickly poison public opinion against him. With corporations on his side, it could get quite ugly. Gasoline prices escalating and the like. A real class war but it would have to open more eyes around the country. I could see them being forced out of office. No matter what it's an ugly scenario.

7. G. Warlock...using a VETO?
He will just continue to add SIGNING STATEMENTS...unless &
until they can be successfully ruled illegal.

6. congress just gave the military half a trillion dollars
Surely there's a way to use the $500 billion they already have to pay the troops sufficiently.

8. The FIRST thing to do..
The NUMBER ONE thing to be done, should the Dems get control, IS DIG OUT THE TRUTH.

So many blatant lies and hidden facts have been slathered across everything Bush Co. has touched...from making it mandatory that Irqi farmers plant NOTHING but US genetically modified seed (I wonder who in the hell is enforcing THAT little Bremer gem?) to GW claiming personal power to name any US citizen an enemy of the state - disappear them without explanation, with no recourse for the disappeared - and the power to torture them for whatever "top secret" reason.

Few things can be corrected without knowing precisely how those things have been misconstructed.

10. If I was in the military I would much rather hear a phased withdrawal
from Iraq than a few more dollars in my pocket. I don't think we should out war monger the war monger party..
