'United 93' used to support war
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON -- A conservative group is blending ads, e-mails and the feature film "United 93" in an innovative campaign to convince voters that the war in Iraq is a crucial component in the struggle against terrorism.

Progress for America began airing a new ad in the political battlegrounds of Missouri and Ohio and on national cable featuring David Beamer, whose son Todd was killed when United Flight 93 crashed on Sept. 11, 2001, in a field in southwestern Pennsylvania.

1. Cashing In
How is it that when the Jersey Girls are active in something, it's cashing in, but when the Beamers do it, it's being patriotic?

3. how do the other famillies view this? With disdain, I think...
...I know one 9/11 family that would be completely outraged to see their tragedy used for political purposes.....but then Bush and Cheney PROMISED not long after 9/11 that they'd NEVER, EVER use 9/11 for political advantage...
