I hate both the Democratic and Republicans Congresscritters on Iraq
Its become politically benifical for members of the GOP like Warner to attack Iraq to show they are moderate. And, it has become politically benifical for Dems to say somewhat positive things about Iraq to show they are moderate. So we have a situation were three Senators go to Iraq, two of them Dems and by far the most negative one was the Conservative Republican.

I freeking hate Congresscritters, even they don't believe any of the shit that comes out of their mouths.

Pryor: Iraq improving, but troubles remain

LITTLE ROCK (AP) — Security in postwar Iraq continues to improve, U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor said Monday, but he acknowledged the country remains "one car bomb away from a terrible day."

"They are all committed to working together," Pryor said in a telephone interview from Amman, Jordan, with The Associated Press. "It's always pretty good when people want to sit down and talk about their problems, instead of shooting bullets and car bombs at each other."

To Pryor, progress in Iraq seems made by fits and starts. He said more Iraqi police and armed forced are taking over responsibilities of the U.S. military. But he had concerns over earlier reports of Iraqi policemen and soldiers walking away from their posts.

"It's not perfect," Pryor said. "You can't just overnight hand over control to the Iraqi military because they aren't ready for it."

Levin: Iraq plan offers 'ray of hope' to end sectarian bloodshed

WASHINGTON - Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan said Tuesday that a plan endorsed by Iraq's prime minister to stop sectarian killings offers a "ray of hope" but it's still uncertain whether it will help stop the bloodshed.

Levin, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, said he was hopeful that a four-point plan announced by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to unite Shiite and Sunni parties in his government would end sectarian violence. But he noted that it lacked a plan to dismantle militias.
