Kathleen Harris - need I say more?
From the Sun-Sentinel http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/florida/sfl-felxharris06oct06,0,3143841.story?coll=sfla-news-florida

/snip In an interview published by a Christian news service, Harris said that incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson "claims to be a Christian" but supports policies "completely contrary to what we say we believe."

/snip Harris spokeswoman Jennifer Marks said the candidate's comments about Nelson's commitment to religious principles were "absolutely appropriate." She said Nelson is "claiming to share" Christian values but acting in ways inconsistent with them.

/snip Nelson is a non-denominational Christian who was baptized Baptist. He grew up attending Baptist and Episcopal churches and joined First Presbyterian Church after moving to Orlando last year, according to spokesman Bryan Gulley. He has served as chairman and vice chairman of the National Prayer Breakfast and, when in Washington, D.C., attends weekly prayer breakfasts with other elected officials.

Harris is deeply unpleasant - both of her

3. Kathleen? You mean Katherine - the one who wears too much makeup,
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 02:10 PM by AndyA
has big boobs (implants), and fixed the 2000 Florida elections? That one? The one and the only?

She is a real piece of work.

After she loses in November, she can get a job working in a circus doing make up for the clown act. Bush can join her there as a clown after his impeachment/prison sentence.

It will be the first job either has had that they're qualified for.

4. If you'd seen what's *underneath* the makeup
you wouldn't say she wears too much makeup.

6. Ignore Her...Florida Repugnians Are...
I have to admit, I'm gonna miss Kate when she loses...but I'm holding out hope she'll do an election night meltdown that will be the highlight of a night of Repugnican failures.

Harris is banking on those church busses that "came through" in '00 and '04 to do their magic for her. She needs every fundie vote...especially now with DeFoleyation promising to depress GOOP vote in Florida (hell even Clay Shaw is in danger....YES!) This is also a beg for bucks...any time she talks "fundie", the xtian radio stations and TV shows pick up on it and give her exposure...and surely with it comes a few pieces of gold.

The other night I saw Bill Moyer's program on Abramoff and one scene had DeLay getting his mug shot taken...DeLay says he was thinking of "my savior" as he was smiling in that infamous pic. To these people, religion is a marketing tool. Now are enough Christians wise to this game now?
