World Can't Wait - Yesterday Rally Photos in San Diego

Here are some photos from yesterday. Wonderful signs and a very good turnout. The planners had it so well organized, carnival games, like BASHA BUSH, ring toss. bean bag etc.

Most memorable and surprising, the SDPD. Instead of lines of angry looking riot police, these guys were friendly, affable, lenient, tolerant and helped make it a safe and fun event. There were no counter protestors! The cops walked among us, chatting, laughing and some even indicated support cracking Bush jokes.

Just thought you's like to see these. Thanks to Peter, beachblogger.net for the pics. He and I are going up to Huntington Beach to demonstrate freeway blogging tomorrow.

1. I went to a rally at the SD Federal bldg and SDPD were great.

An older Sgt/Supervisor even talked with us and condemned bu$h and his actions. The other cops were friendly and just told us to keep moving as not to loiter. At one point some mullet-headed freep pulled up and cussed at us, calling us "pussies" and such. The cops ran to him and told him to take off or they would drag his ass in.
Its a shame that I really couldnt get off work to attend.

4. Look folks, most think cops are just cops

if SDPD ever shows at an event with riot gear, it has nothing to do with us, but with the a-holes from East County that WILL hurt you if they can.
