Taking responsibility - Does it mean ANYTHING anymore?
So Denny Hastert is taking responsibility for the sexual abuse scandal. Doesn't taking responsibility usually imply some kind of consequence? I remember Bush has pulled this once or twice also. They say they are taking responsibility and then they just move on. You CAN'T take responsibility without also taking some action to rectify the problem.

2. Only if you're in the economic bottom 98% or 99% of the population.
If you're in the top 1% to 2% tax bracket, it doesn't mean a thing.

3. 'Taking responsibility' is GOP code for 'passing the buck'.

4. it all depends on who's saying it...
perhaps a new dictionary needs to be compiled to define all those words that have been bastardized.

5. I'm surprised to discover myself saying things with "Nixon's integrity"
appended. It's freaking me out and breaking my heart at the same time...
